Edinborg Bistro is an upscale restaurant, located in the heart of Ísafjörður. Selection of wines that have especially been picked to pair perfectly with the courses.

We offer a light lunch menu that is available during weekdays and a a la carte menu during evenings and weekends. The main focus of the menu is fish and meat although we also have a range of international dishes, such as pasta, salads and soups. For those adventurous foodies, we recommend trying the whale steak with pepper sauce. The restaurant has a comfortable ambience and we seek to improve with every dish we serve.

Very nice restaurant

Our experience in the restaurant was so great! We went there for dinner the two nights we were in town. The meals were excellent, and the service was perfect! All the restaurant staff were very nice, pleasant and efficient! I recommend this place!{

Great food, friendly staff, and yummy daiquiri's

We happened to be in Ísafjörður for the evening and went to find dinner. Happened in this little place and it turned out to be our lucky day. First, we had a strawberry daiquiri that was wonderful and then we ordered the Fish and Chips, which were absolutely delicious! The staff was friendly and attentive, the ambiance was clean and quiet. Would definitely recommend this place to families and couples.{

Could eat here every night!

Have eaten here at least 4 times. Love the quiet ambiance and the Burt Bacharach music. Had the seafood soup, fish, and chicken pasta. I could eat here every night while in Ísafjörður. Highly recommend! {

Family run bar and restaurant with delicious food in a quayside setting

Three of us went for dinner on a Monday night when other restaurants were closed. Edinborg is spacious in a historic dockside building with views over the harbor. Equally good for a drink or a meal. We had an excellent and generous shrimp and lobster salad starter, followed by Wolf fish mains with either fresh vegetables or salad. And a warm brownie with a crisp crust to finish. Tasty, fresh, and good value.{

During my stay in Ísafjörður, I visited the restaurant two times. The seafood soup was excellent. The service was very good. Friendly environment and staff.{
